Partnership Opportunities

During 2017 and 2018, MERGE for Equality developed, piloted and launched the Early Childhood Initiative (ECI), in partnership with Holyoke Chicopee Springfield Head Start, Square One and Preschool Enrichment Team. Through these exciting partnerships, early childhood educators and their professional allies who serve children and families in Greater Springfield, MA, have participated in key elements of the ECI, including the Developing Healthy Boys training and Children’s Book Campaign.

In 2018, the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children (MAAEYC) approved our Developing Healthy Boys training for .5 CEU credits. The MAAEYC CEU approval means that MERGE is offering the Developing Healthy Boys training at a series of professional development trainings for early childhood educators.

Now MERGE for Equality is exploring opportunities to form new partnerships with early childhood agencies, and funders, aimed at bringing the Early Childhood Initiative to communities in MA, CT and beyond.
